The Texas Haunters Convention™ is a cash-and-carry style two-day Halloween convention targeting Halloween and cosplay fans.
It is geared towards haunt owners, industry professionals, home haunters, families, trick-or-treaters, and just anyone who loves the Halloween season.
In addition to accessing the convention floor to take advantage of our exhibitor offerings, attendees will be able to participate in demonstrations, classes, make n’ takes, and other events.Â
We are an exhibitor-friendly convention and want to make sure you enjoy the convention as much as our attendees do. If you have any special requests, don’t hesitate to reach out and contact us.

COVID-19 Information
We would like our exhibitors and attendees to know that we are closely monitoring the situation around the current coronavirus outbreak. The health and welfare of all who will be attending the 2023 Texas Haunters Convention™ is our top priority.Â
We care deeply about our fellow haunters and Halloween enthusiasts and hope that everyone stays safe and healthy.Â

Current Update:Â
The Texas Haunters Convention™ is doing our part to make sure that our convention is safe for all who attend. Â

- We work closely with the city and venue to make sure we are following all current state, county, and city guidelines for an event like ours.
- If you have not been vaccinated or are at high risk, it is recommended that you wear a face covering.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue for your safety and convenience.
- Registration will have contactless payment options available.
- We are asking individuals with new or worsening signs or symptoms to not attend the convention.
- We are asking individuals who have had known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 within the last 10 days to not attend the convention.
 As an exhibitor we are asking you to do the following in their areas:

- Use contactless payment whenever possible.
- Regularly and frequently clean and disinfect any regularly touched surfaces.
- Discourage attendees from needlessly touching items and disinfect any items that come into contact with attendees.
 If you, your employees, or contractors have any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms you should not attend the convention:

- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Loss of taste or smell
- Diarrhea
- Feeling feverish
 If you, your employees, or contractors have had known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 within the last 10 days you should not attend the convention.

Exhibitor Registration
Exhibitor registration starts on January 1st, 2023.
Exhibit spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exhibit spaces will not be reserved until paid in full during the registration process. Partial payments will not be accepted.

Load-In Information
You must stop at registration first to pick up your exhibitor badge before you begin load-in on the convention floor.Â
During load-in please use the loading door that was assigned to you which will be listed on your exhibitor badge. See the map below showing the side and rear loading doors. They are labeled on the exterior of the building.
Main Load-In:
- Friday, July 14th, 2023:
- 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Saturday, July 15th, 2023:
- 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM
For exhibitors needing to leave a trailer on the convention floor throughout the convention, you must drop off the trailer on Thursday only between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Driving onto the convention floor will not be permitted during the main load-in times.
If you have a large display and need to unload your trailer only on Thursday, please contact us for arrangements.Â
Only individuals with exhibitor badges will be permitted on the convention floor during registration.
Load-Out Information

Please throw all trash away in designated receptacles and leave your areas clean.

Exhibitors are not permitted to begin packing up or loading before 4:00 PM.

Exhibit Space Options
Below is a list of the available types of exhibit space options as well as what items are provided with each type.
A map of the convention floor can be found here.
The ceiling height is 25+ feet.
Electricity is not included but is available from the venue and may be requested from the registration page.  Electricity is not available for table spaces or food trucks.
All exhibitors, with the exception of food trucks, will receive two exhibitor passes. Exhibitor passes provide access to the convention floor as well as the Meet N’ Greet with the provided meal and access to the Costume Ball.  A maximum of two additional exhibitor passes may be purchased for exhibitors that have booth spaces or bare floor spaces.  Extra exhibitor passes are not available for table areas or food trucks.

Parking:
Parking at the convention is free.Â
We ask that exhibitors, especially those with trailers, park by the loading doors or in the farther away spaces to allow for easier parking for attendees.

Specialty Equipment Use
Use of anything that creates haze, mist, fog, scent distribution, strobes, or loud noises should be discussed with the convention organizers well in advance of the convention.
We need to make sure the venue is prepared for these types of items from a facility and safety perspective.

Advertising and sponsorship options are available to exhibitors as well as general businesses.

Use of Name or Logo
Use of the Texas Haunters Convention™ name and/or logo on any merchandise is strictly prohibited without written permission.
Exhibitor Agreement
By registering and purchasing an event space you are agreeing to the Exhibitor Agreement.

All exhibitors are subject to review and approval. This is to verify exhibitors are theme-appropriate and that we offer our attendees a variety of different exhibitor types.
Once your registration is approved, you will receive an email from “no-reply@signrequest.com” to electronically sign the Exhibitor Agreement.
We are an exhibitor-friendly convention and want to make sure you enjoy the convention as much as our attendees do. If you have any special requests, don’t hesitate to reach out and contact us.
Insurance
Our insurance covers the venue and our attendees only. It does not cover our exhibitors or their merchandise!
Texas Haunters Convention™ and Texas Haunters Group, LLC is not liable for any damages to exhibitor merchandise.
Below are two popular companies offering exhibitor insurance if you do not already carry a policy and would like to cover your merchandise at the convention. Texas Haunters Convention™ and Texas Haunters Group, LLC are not affiliated with either of them.
If you will be engaged in the below types of activities or similar, you must carry your own policy and proof of that policy must be provided to us prior to being allowed on the convention floor. These include but are not limited to:
- Stunts (such as stilt walking, charging, or sliding)
- Attendee Activities (such as an escape room, maze, mini haunt, or zombie tag)
- Knife Sales (if has a sharp edge even if meant to be decorative)
If you are engaged in these aforementioned activities, please add “Texas Haunters Group, LLC” and “Mesquite Convention Center” as additional insured to your policy. You will then need to provide a copy of your policy either during onsite registration or by emailing us ahead of time insurance@texashauntersconvention.com.

Sales Tax
Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and remitting applicable Texas sales taxes.
